My baby girl, Winter Victoria Swanson, came into this world on January 6th with a bang loud enough to reverberate around the world, the universe felt her presence. She proved to be a warrior, far stronger than her tiny stature. At 1lb3oz, barely bigger than a breath, she fought like hell against all odds. My heart breaks that she got an infection that flooded her body and quickly sickened her to a place of no return. She died quietly on January 10th on my chest. I, Anne Victoria Sutcliffe Swanson long for her but am incredibly grateful to have been able to love her and that the moments we shared as mother and daughter remain everlasting. The universe has brought her back into its fold and I, will find her in the grace and beauty in this world.

Winter is survived by her mother Anne, grandmother Victoria Swanson, and grandfather Phil Swanson.

Please join us for a celebration of my daughter, Winter at the Unitarian Universalist Chapel in Woodstock on Saturday January 20th beginning at 1:00pm.
