William "Bill" F. Woodward, 65, died Tuesday morning October 21, 2014 at his home in Bridgewater Center following a courageous battle with COPD.

Bill was born on December 9, 1948 in Hanover, New Hampshire the son of Floyd B. and Eva (DeLuca) Woodward.

Bill worked at the Bridgewater Woolen Mill, the Woodstock Soap Stone Company, and at a number of restaurants in the area. He enjoyed old time rock music and meeting people evenings at Maplefields in Woodstock for coffee.

Bill is survived by his sister Gloria Martin and her husband Norman, his nieces and nephews; Nancy Robinson and her husband Greg, Tammy Wardwell and her husband Butch, Bruce Martin, and Nope Martin and his wife Diane. He is also survived by a number of great nieces and great nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday October 26th at 2:00 pm at the Bridgewater Congregational Church in Bridgewater, Vermont. Burial will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Bridgewater Congregational Church or to the Bridgewater Fast Squad.
