Wayne W. Wilson, 71, died at his home in Woodstock surrounded by family and friends on Sunday afternoon September 24, 2023

Wayne was born on October 9, 1951 at the old hospital in Windsor, Vermont the son of Wayne, Sr. and Clarissa (Small) Wilson.

Wayne graduated from Woodstock Union High School in 1969 and after working in Excavation for a few well know people in the Woodstock area Wayne started and ran his own excavation company right up until this fall. Wayne was well know for his attention to detail, incredible workmanship, and honesty by many people he worked for. Wayne also supported the greater Woodstock community whenever he had the chance.

He is survived by a number of family and friends that will always remember his kindness to both people and animals

A celebration of Waynes life will be held on October 9, 2023 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Thompson Senior Center in Woodstock, Vermont. Burial will be held privately in the Prosper Cemetery.
