Virginia Carson Kelley, 94, died early Sunday morning March 25, 2018 at Woodstock Terrace in Woodstock, Vermont.
She was born on February 23, 1924 in Fort Smith, Arkansas the daughter of Joseph and Katharine (Gardner) Carson. She went to Ripon College for two years and graduated from the University of Arizona. She spent most of her life in Mequon, Wisconsin, where she and her husband raised their children and enjoyed many outdoor activities.
Virginia is survived by her son Andy (Kim Aakre) Kelley and their children Kira and Alex Kelley of Hartland, Vermont, her daughter Jane (Clifford Lee Johnson III) Kelley and their daughter Sofia Johnson of Mequon, Wisconsin, her daughter Katharine (Richard) Swenson of Eagan, Minnesota, and her nephew Tom Daily of Pinetop, Arizona. She was predeceased by her husband O.W. "Bill" Kelley and her sisters Katharine Daily and Florence Carson.
Services and internment will be held at the St. Boniface Episcopal Church in Mequon, Wisconsin.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Red Cross.
