Thelma Mary White, formerly Thelma Mary Wild, age 93, of Quechee, VT passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Thelma (Timmie) was born in Belleville, Il on July 25, 1923 and graduated from Belleville Township High School. Memorial Services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA on May 24th at 11am followed by a 1pm reception at the Hyatt Centric Arlington. Mrs. White will be buried alongside her husband retired Air Force Master Sergeant Cecil Alva White. Timmie had a long and distinguished career in the United States government beginning on the eve of World II at Scott Air Force Base in her home town and concluding in the President's Office of Telecommunications within the West Wing of the White House. Mrs. White was a long-time resident of the Washington DC area and an avid world traveler throughout her life. Predeceased by her siblings Kenneth, Leova, Arnold and Virginia. She is survived by her sister Audrey Tinoco of Belleville, Il., 7 nieces, 3 nephews, 6 grandnieces, 11 grandnephews, 7 great grandnieces and 7 great grandnephews.
