Terry Harlow 81 of Woodstock, VT passed away on December 20th. He was born August 18, 1942 to Roswell and Lucille Harlow.
Terry graduated from WUHS and spent several years in The United States Navy. He spent most of his life in Woodstock and the surrounding area. He spent many years working in the grocery business as a supervisor for Red and White. He and his ex-wife Sue purchased The Barnard General Store in 1975 and spent many years running it. He had a variety of jobs after he sold the store. He worked for The State of Vermont as a case worker for DCF.
Terry spent many years as a soccer, basketball, and lacrosse official. This was a passion of his and when he could no longer run up and down the fields, he would assign officials to both soccer and lacrosse games. He was also an avid lover of all animals, especially dogs, and spent time volunteering for VVSA.
Terry is survived by his daughter Kelly Hennig and family, his son Shane Harlow of Orange VT, and his beloved dog Molson. He is also survived by his brother Roswell (Bud) Harlow his wife Susan, his sister Holly Cook and her husband David, and brother Herbert (Bert) Harlow, ex-wife Sue Harlow, as well as many nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life held at The Thompson Senior Center in Woodstock VT on Sunday January 21st 1pm-3pm. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a humane society of your choice.
