Shirley Fuelner Remington, 92, died Sunday September 14, 2014 in Millbrook, New York.
Shirley was born on November 16, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York the daughter of William F Wellbrock and Anna Fuelner.
Shirley lived in New Hyde Park, Stony Brook, and Calverton, New York before moving to Reading, Vermont. She worked for the Grumman Aircraft Corporation for a number of years. She enjoyed baking, sailing, and playing Bridge and Pinochle.
Shirley is survived by her children: Robert B Tucker, Clinton Corners, NY, Mary Elizabeth Carey, Contoocook, NH, Edward P. Remington, Wellington, FL, Peter C. Remington, Houston, TX, Jonathan R. Remington, Waterford, VA, 6 Grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren. She is predeceased by; Edgar (Pete) F Remington (spouse), Charles P Tucker (spouse), Alicia Ann Remington (step daughter).
Services for Shirley will be held at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph, Vermont beginning at the Chapel at 11:00 am on Monday October 6th. A gathering will take place at the Three Stallion Inn in Randolph following the service.
Memorial donations may be made to the Reading Fast Squad, P.O. Box 83, Reading, Vermont 05062.
