Sandra "Sandy" Lee Sloan passed away unexpectedly on September 20th at the age of 60. Born on December 17, 1954 in Rutland, VT to Harold and Mildred (Bowles) Sloan, she was a 1974 graduate of Woodstock Union High School. She worked for many years at the Cumberland Farms in Woodstock where she enjoyed all of her co-workers as well as the customers and had remarked on Monday how she missed them all. She was known for the love of her family and friends, as well as the love she bestowed upon her pets over the years. She was predeceased by her parents, an infant son, as well as a brother Edward Dionne II. She is survived by her son Brett Sloan, her siblings; David Dionne of Waterbury, VT; Eugene Dionne of Newport, VT; James Dionne of New Jersey; Dean Dixon of Pownal, VT; Henry Sloan of Port Henry, NY; and Gary Sloan of Proctor, VT, an Aunt and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
