Ronald A. Jackson died Tuesday morning, May 26th at his home in Woodstock, VT. He was born on July 10, 1931 in Wayne, Michigan, the son of Walter and Helen (Darling) Jackson.
Ronald served in the U.S. Army In Korea, thereafter he founded "Tradewinds International Inc." traveling world-wide until his retirement .
He was President Of the Massachusetts Association for Children with Learning Disabilities.
Ronald had an intuitive sense for art and design and was on the original design team of the 1953 Corvette sports car. He had lived in Westfield, Mass. and Haddam CT. until retiring to Woodstock VT..
He is survived by his wife Charlotte Danly Jackson, also of Woodstock, his three children: Kirk and wife Mary Jackson of Westbrook, CT.,Seth and his wife Elaine Jackson of Higganum, CT., and daughter Melanie Jones and husband Nicholas of Raleigh NC..
Ronald is predeceased by his first wife Shelia Eriksson Jackson, a brother Robert and a sister Marilyn.
He had three step children: Bruce Danly and wife Jennifer of Potomac, MD., Alison Danly Lazear and husband Dennis of Molino, FL. and Matthew Danly of Pensacola, FL.. In addition Ronald had seven grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.
