Robin "Daddy-o, Road Runner" Keith Kempson, 63, of Woodstock, Vt sadly lost his courageous battle to pancreatic cancer on October 13 th , 2021 at the Jack Byrns Center in Lebanon, NH.

Robin was born February 7, 1958 and lived in Middletown NJ for 30 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad, brothers, and cousins. He graduated from Middletown High School and went on to Architectural and Design school, graduating at the top of his class. He then started his own framing business in New Jersey. In 1988 He and his wife, Donna moved to Vermont where they could offer the beautiful green mountains as a healthy playground for themselves and to raise their 2 sons, Ryan and Matt.

Here in VT he worked for Woodstock Builders before starting his own construction Co, Appalachian Housewrights in 1995. During his career while building and renovating many homes in this area he became life long friends with many clients. His craftmanship is well respected. He had an eye for perfection. Robin became a mentor for many young men including his sons. He took them under his wing teaching them his craft, laying a foundation that allowed them to succeed in life.

Robin immensley enjoyed and shared his passion for surfing, biking, running, snow shoeing, down hill and tele mark skiing, rock and ice climbing, kite surfing and sailing with his family and friends.

He will be remembered for his honesty, integrity, compassion for others, his ability to fix anything and his love of playing in the out doors in any weather.

Robin is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth and mother, Mary Frances. He is survived by his wife, Donna, his sons, Ryan (Courtney) and Matthew, his father-in-law Gene, sister Linda (Bob), brothers Skip and Scott, nieces Karen, Catie, Deanna, Samantha, Darien and Hailey, nephews Tyrell, Kirk, Danny, Connor, Phil, Scott, Stephen, Riley and Jackson and many beloved relatives.

A memorial service will be held at Bethany Birches Camp, 2610 Lynds Hill Road, Plymouth, VT on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 2pm.

Robin would want everyone to stop and smell the roses, spread kindness, live the dash and pick up trash. Take time to walk in nature and remember always our dear sweet Robin.
