Richard E. Frost, 64, died at his home early Sunday morning April 28th surrounded by family.
Richard was born February 22, 1949 in Rutland, Vermont the son of Wesley and Florence (Earle) Frost.
Richard graduated from Woodstock Union High School in 1967. He served in the United States Air force during Vietnam earning a Purple Heart. Returning to Vermont he worked for Timberpeg and then later became a partner of Shaker Construction. He was currently employed by the Postal Service.
He enjoyed working with wood and was a master craftsman.
Richard was an enthusiastic World War II Historian and a dedicated Dale Earnhardt fan.
Richard is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years Linda Lee (Adams) Frost of Bridgewater Center, VT, his daughter Jennifer and husband Timothy Dean of Bridgewater Center, VT, his father Wesley Frost of Bridgewater, VT, his sister Lois Taylor of St. Cloud, FL, his brothers W. David Frost and wife Martha of Jerico, VT, Steve Frost and his fiancé Jane Maxham of Woodstock, VT, and many nieces and nephews. He is pre deceased by his mother Florence Earle Frost.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday May 1st at 11:00 am in the Topliff Cemetery in Bridgewater. There will be no calling hours.
