Reginald L. Hoisington, 71, died Monday evening December 3rd at his home in Bridgewater Center, VT.
Reggie was born on July 21, 1941 in Bridgewater, Vermont the
son of Ralph and Hazel (Sloan) Hoisington.
Reggie married Helen L. Colby on May 15, 1969. He worked for a short time at the Bridgewater Woolen Mill and then 28 years for the Woodstock Inn and Resort. He enjoyed flowers and flower gardens. He loved his cats, but most of all his grandchildren. The family is thankful for the care given to Reggie by Jason Walker.
He is survived by his daughter Lisa Linton of West Woodstock, VT, his son Anthony Hoisington of Bridgewater Center, VT, his son Ralph Townsend of Hartland, VT and his daughter, Andrea McNeill of Argyle, New York, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a sister Norma Plumber of Bradford, VT, his Aunt Helen Howe and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased 2 sisters Merilyn Wood and Verna Gay and a brother Edwin.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday December 8th at 10:00 am in the Baker Hill Cemetery in Bridgewater Center. There will be no calling hours.
Memorial donations may be made to The Bridgewater Fire Department or the Bridgewater Fast Squad, P.O. Box 212 Bridgewater, Vermont 05034.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock, Vermont.
