Raymond H. Thompson, 88, died at his home in Hartland, Vermont on June 29, 2023.

He was born on February 3, 1935 in New Milford, CT the son of James F., Sr. and Cornelia Romaine Thompson 1 of 17 children.

Raymond did masonry and carpentry work with his father for many years. He then worked with horses and enjoyed that for many years. He moved to Hartland, Vermont and in addition to continuing his work as a carpenter he worked for Bond Auto Parts in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Raymond is survived by his wife Sheila of Hartland, VT his step daughter Mary Ann Kelly Guaraldi, step grandson Hunter Scott Picknell, step granddaughters Liz and Iris, Sister Linda Carlson,

Brothers; Johnny, Charles, Theodore, Douglas, George, and Roy and many nieces and nephews.

He is pre deceased by his first wife Dorothy, 6 sisters and 3 brothers.

A memorial service will be held Praise Chapel, 1615 Maple Street, Hartford, Vermont 05001 on Saturday August 19th at 11:00am
