Randall J. Thompson, 67, passed away at his home in Bridgewater with his loving family at his side.
Randall was born in Hanover, New Hampshire on October 31, 1954 the son of John and Muriel (Sherman) Thompson.
A graduate of Woodstock Union High School and then from the Culinary Arts School at Newbury C.I. in Boston, MA in1975 , Randall made his career as a chef. He worked for many years at the Quechee Club as well as a number of other Hotels and Restaurants.
Randall had a passion for music and enjoyed golf, fishing, and playing video games, most of all he cherished time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He spent years building a train with his granddaughter Alecia. He was very proud of Alecia's accomplishments.
He is survived by his wife Karen (Johnson) Thompson of Bridgewater, his daughters; Marissa Thompson of Bridgewater and Samantha Ide of No. Walpole, NH, his 4 grandchildren; Alecia Thompson of Bridgewater, Cadence Perley, Caylin Perley, and Nolan Ide all of No. Walpole, NH, his brother Eldon Thompson of Woodstock, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
A graveside service is being planned for May 7 th at the Riverside Cemetery in Woodstock in the spring.
