Paul "Bub" Elwin Rogers, 77, died at his home in Bridgewater Corners on Friday morning January 2, 2015.

Paul was born on October 21, 1937 in Rutland, Vermont the son of Elwin and Margaret (Barnard) Rogers.

Paul served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1958 and was a proud member of the Woodstock High School class of 1955. Other than his service and his many travels He was a life long Resident of Bridgewater Corners. Known to many as Bub, he spent most of his working life as a truck driver and equipment operator. He worked for many years for the Town of Woodstock retiring in 1993 but often filling in when needed.

Paul married Yvonne Marie Belisle on June 20, 1969. Aside from work, family, and community Paul and Yvonne loved to travel. Together they saw vast areas of the United States and Canada first camping and later traveling in their motor home.

Paul enjoyed visiting with people and was a great storyteller. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed hunting. Paul was a member of the Bridgewater Legion and the N.R.A.

Paul is survived by his wife Yvonne, his half sister Mary Oldenburg, both of Bridgewater Corners, his half brothers David and Robert Rogers of Texas, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. He is pre deceased by his parents, his brothers James (1984) and John (2008), stepdaughter Michelle Belisle (1999), and grandson David Fowler (2014).

There will be no services at this time. Burial is planned for later this spring in The Riverside Cemetery in Woodstock.
