Pat was born March 14, 1927 in Burlington, Vermont. She was the daughter of William and Helen Johnston of West Rutland, Vermont, and grew up in West Rutland, Vermont. Following graduation from West Rutland High School, Pat attended Northampton Commercial College in Northampton, MA.

For many years, Pat was assistant Post Mistress at the Quechee Post Office. Her enjoyment was her involvement in the community, as she loved people. She was passionate about the Quechee Congregational Church, the Quechee Library, the Quechee Garden Club and Prosper Homemakers. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and sewing.

Patricia was married to John R. Lewis of North Bridgewater, Vermont for 62 years. She is survived by her four children, Mary Jane (Gregg) Palmer, Fred Lewis, William (Judy) Lewis, Laurie Lewis, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren, her sister-in-law Harriet Maynes, and many nieces and nephews. Pat was pre-deceased by her husband John, sister, brothers, sisters-in-law and many wonderful friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cabot Funeral Home. Services will be on Friday, April 28 at 10:00 a.m. at the Quechee Church. Burial to follow at the Prosper Community Cemetery and reception immediate following at the Prosper Community House. An on line guest book can be found at cabotfh.com
