Neil Thurston Allen Jr. 67, of Quechee, VT, passed away on Wednesday June 18th in his home.

Neil was born December 17th, 1957 in Hartford, CT, the son of Neil T. Allen Sr. and Lila Lee Smith.

He graduated from Woodstock Union High School in 1976.
Neil and Catherine (Pasquale) welcomed their two children Neil III in 1977 and Melissa 1981.

Neil worked for multiple companies as a master auto technician before opening his own business, NTA Motors full time. His knowledge, experience and passion for automobiles granted him notoriety as one of the best technicians in the Upper Valley.

Neil enjoyed hunting, archery, camping, reading books, observing birds, and spending time with his family. Neil married Janet (Cimmino) Allen in July of 2009 in northern Vermont.
They shared the love of music, visiting family in New England, camping and spending time with their dogs.

Remaining to cherish Neil's memory are spouse, Janet; children, Neil (Danielle) Allen and Melissa (Lucas) Seaver; grandchildren, Trenton, Jacob, Olivia, Tyson, Aidan, and Wyatt; sisters, Connie (Jay) Hildreth and Patricia (Steve) Robbins; also several nieces and nephews. Janet's children, David Garganese (Lindsay), Jessica Taylor, Sarah Garganese, Rebecca Garganese (Marco), Daniel Garganese; 12 grandchildren; Janet's siblings, Joe Cimmino, Carol (John) Amato, Linda (Mark) Toshces

Preceding Neil in death are his parents, Neil Sr. and Lila Lee.

A celebration of life will be held July 26th at 2pm at the East Barnard Grange Hall in East Barnard VT.
