Obituary

Bridgewater Corners, Vermont

Marilyn Brown Geno, 69, died Monday morning June 4th at her home in Bridgewater Corners, Vermont surrounded by her loving family.

Marilyn was born on June 16, 1942 in Proctorsville, Vermont the daughter of Earl F. and Ruby E. (Merriam) Brown.

On July 4, 1960 Marilyn married Clifford A. Geno. Following the years that Marilyn raised her three girls she went on to work at the Bridgewater Co-Op, Hartland Cards, the Woodstock National Bank, the administrative Assistant to the Bridgewater Select Board, a Para Professional at the Woodstock Middle School, and many years as the co-owner and working partner of Northeast Property Management. Marilyn was also the secretary for Oak Chapel for 20 plus years, she enjoyed oil and acrylic painting, knitting, crocheting, reading. Marilyn truly loved Jesus, her family, and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years Clifford Geno, her three daughters; Julie Melendy and husband John of Bridgewater Corners, VT, Carrie Bivins and husband Michael also of Bridgewater Corners, VT, and Barbara Geno and Alan J. Patterson, Sr. of Lebanon, NH, her 8 grandchildren; Clifford, Casey, Monica, Joseph, Denel, Kalib, Hannah, and Megan, her 7 great grandchildren, a sister Janet Summersel and her husband Percy of Windsor, VT, and a brother Richard Brown and his wife Ann of No. Walpole, NH.

A graveside service will be held at the Baker Hill Cemetery in Bridgewater Center on Sunday June 10th at 2:00 PM.
