Marian Maggi Marrone passed away March 18, 2017. She was born May 16, 1922 in Central Park, Long Island, daughter of Anna (Lohman) & Louis J Maggi. She graduated from Farmingdale HS. She married Thomas D Marrone in Bethpage, NY on April 5, 1942. He predeceased her on March 19, 1988.

Marian worked in various school districts on Long Island & in Westchester County, after their move to Armonk, NY. She retired to Hendersonville, NC in 1977, but moved to Clearwater, FL in 1990. In order to be closer to family, Marian moved to Windsor VT July of 2010 & lived at Evarts House until her recent move to the Village at Cedar Hill in Windsor.

Survivors include her son Thomas L Marrone & his wife, Margo of Plymouth, VT; her granddaughter Melissa Perrino & her husband, Chris & two great-grandsons, Owen & Landon Perrino of Ludlow: her sister, Audrey Hunt of Leesburg FL, nephews - Terry Hunt, Rob, Tim, Terry & Tom Marrone, & a niece, Linda Pohli.

There will be a service of remembrance at Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock, VT on Wednesday, March 22nd at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lucy MacKenzie Humane Society, 4832 Route 44, Windsor, VT 05089
