Lucy E. Blake, 70, died at her home in Hartland on Sunday March 14, 2021.

She was born on September 10, 1950 in St. Johnsbury, Vermont the daughter of Maurice J. and Francis (Day) Caswell.

Lucy graduated from Thetford Academy and after moving to the Woodstock area she worked for 30 years at the P&C and then Grand Union where she was well known for her smile and crazy often hand made earrings. She also enjoyed trips to Fox Wood, dancing to country music, and the peacefulness of cows grazing in Vermont pastures.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years James Blake, a son Mike and wife Karla, 2 grandsons; Aaron and fiance Amanda, and Ryan and fiance Janette, 4 grandchildren; Isabella, Nathan, Devin, and Randal, a sister Barbara Wilson, a brother Lawrence and wife Kris Caswell, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Lucy is predeceased by 3 brothers; Bernard, Eugene "B u tch", and Douglas, 2 step brothers; Jack & Jim, and a step sister Pat Fifield.
