Lucile S. Harlow, 94, died Wednesday November 25, 2015 at the Brookside Nursing Home in White River Jct., Vermont.
Lucile was born on April 22, 1921 in Woodstock, Vermont the daughter of Herbert Erwin and Ada (Clark) Smith.
A graduate of Woodstock High School Lucile married Roswell Harlow and dedicated herself to raising their family. From her homes in the Woodstock area Lucile spent many years working as a seamstress for many families in the area. She also enjoyed quilting.
Lucile enjoyed dancing and was a member of the Freelance Family Singers for many years. She was a member of the Quechee Community Church and served on the Homestead Board. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Lucile is survived by her children; Roswell "Bud" Harlow and Terry Harlow both of Woodstock, Holly Cook of Canaan, NH, Herbert "Bert" Harlow of Fall River, MA, 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grand children. In addition to her parents and her husband she is predeceased by a sister Freda Adams, a brother Ralph "Bud" Smith, and a great granddaughter Sarah Jean Eigenbrod.
A celebration of Lucile's life will be held on December 13, 2015 at the Quechee Community Church at 1:30. All are invited to the Social hour immediately following the celebration at the Quechee Community Church. Burial will be held privately by the family.
