Bridgewater Corners, Vermont
Lloyd W. Severance, 83, died at his home in Bridgewater Corners surrounded by his family on May 19, 2014.
Lloyd was born on January 14, 1931 in Woodstock, Vermont the son of Romaine and Edna (Hall) Severance.
Lloyd lived in the local area his entire life. He worked many years for the Tucker Construction Company. Lloyd also owned and operated Severance Furs for many years. He married Beverly Bates on September 4, 1951. He owned and drove a racecar. He enjoyed fishing, trapping, hunting, and racing. He was an avid Red Sox and Jets fan.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 62 years, Beverly, his 4 daughters; Susan, Sandy, Shari, and Sallie, his son Tim, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of Lloyd's life this Saturday May 24th from 2 to 4 PM at Shari's Place in Bridgewater, Vermont.
In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Bridgewater Rescue Squad
