Lisa M. Schulz, 57, died peacefully at the Genesis Health care center in Lebanon, NH on Thursday afternoon January 15th surrounded by family, following a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Lisa was born on May 13, 1957 in Attleboro, MA the daughter of Richard Sr. and Carol (Stoddard) Sawyer.
Lisa's family moved to Woodstock, Vermont in 1970. She graduated from Woodstock Union High School in 1975. After graduation Lisa became a seamstress at Town & Country in Hanover, NH. She later started her own housekeeping business in the Upper Valley. For the past 20 years, Lisa was a newspaper carrier for the Valley News.
Lisa was devoted to her grandchildren and loved spending time with family. She also enjoyed sewing, boating, auto racing, camping, construction, and animals. She also loved long car rides listening to Cher. She had many special animals, as a child it was a rabbit and later in life it was her beloved shelties.
Lisa is survived by her daughter Renee Wolf, grandchildren; Christopher, Lynnze, Samantha, and Cassidy, son Brian Rogers and wife Chris, grandchildren; Eric and Kera, daughter Ericka Bergeron and husband Keith, grandchildren; Kane and Kaleb, step son Kenny Welch, grandson Carter, step daughter Nikole Welch, grandchildren; Shiane and Hannah, step daughter Katie Welch, grandson Isayah, sister Denise Hagel and spouse Jimmy, sister Lori Perron and husband Eugene, brother Richard Schulz Jr and wife Denise, brother Bruce Schulz and wife Jody, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday January 24th from 3 to 5 pm at the Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock, VT. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a memorial donations to the Upper Valley Humane Society.
