Linda Pearsons Jillson passed peacefully at her home in South Pomfret, VT on February 19, 2011 surrounded by her daughters.

Linda was born on January 16, 1945 in Hanover, New Hampshire the daughter of Parmalee "Jack" and Lucille (Knapp) Pearsons.

She attended Woodstock Schools. In the early 70's, she owned and operated Teago General Store with her husband. After that, she was employed for many years by the Economy Store in Woodstock. Over the past 20 years, she was employed as a private care giver.

Linda enjoyed working in her flower gardens and cherished her home, cats, and natural surroundings. She also enjoyed following NASCAR and attending several races with friends and her grandson, Weston. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with, and spoiling, her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her two daughters; Terri Jillson White and her husband Peter of Sunapee, NH, and Wendy Jillson of South Pomfret, her brother Thomas Pearsons of Woodstock, VT, her three grandchildren; Weston Atwood, Hayley Atwood, and Timothy White, and her many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is pre deceased by her husband James H. Jillson.

A memorial service will be held at the North Pomfret Congregational Church on Saturday February 26th at 11:00 am with Rev. Margaret Flad officiating. Burial will be in the Prosper Cemetery at a later date.
