Julian Ralph Waters, 84, died Friday February 4th at the Veterans Hospital in White River Jct., Vermont.
Mr. Waters was born on February 16, 1926 in Gaysville, Vermont the son of Julian H. and Belle (Thompson) Waters.
Mr. Waters served in the United States Air Force from 1943 to 1945. On May 31, 1947 he married June E. Sawyer and they settled in West Woodstock. Mr. Waters worked for the Pearsons Mill in West Woodstock, the Bridgewater Woolen Mill, the town of Bridgewater, and 38 years at the Cone Blanchard plant in Windsor, VT. He also worked with his father in the masonry business.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, pool, and time on Lake Champlain.
He is survived by his wife June, his four children; Bonnie Potwin of Bridgewater, Ronald Waters of So. Pomfret, Jerry Waters of Bridgewater, and Randy Waters of Bridgewater Corners, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a sister Margaret Izzo of Woodstock, VT. He is pre deceased by two brothers; Philip and Arnold, and two sisters; Barbie and Madelyn.
