Howard "Toppy" Rollin Gould, 85, died December 8, 2024 at the Mertens House in Woodstock, Vermont

Howard was born on May 26, 1939 in Claremont, NH the son of Howard W. and Alice (Rice) Gould.

A graduate of Woodstock High School class of 1957 Howard served in the US Navy from 1957 until 1962. Returning home to Woodstock He went to work for New England Telephone Co. (Later Verizon) retiring in 1995. He later worked for Leonard's Gas and Electric even helping with the construction of the original building in West Woodstock and then for Thompson's Garage.

Howard enjoyed hunting and fishing and many other out door activities and was a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Adelson Gould, his sister Nancy (Nelson) Bebo, his brother Bruce (Pat) Gould, nieces and nephews; Chris Gould, Tim Gould, Leanne Chynoweth, Nelson Bebo, Todd Bebo, Stacy Bebo, and Deanna Cayer

A graveside service will be held on Monday May 26th at 2:00pm in the Riverside Cemetery in Woodstock, Vermont
