Hope D. Keogh, 89, passed away peacefully at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative & Hospice Care on April 3, 2021.

Hope lived most of her life in Dresher, PA and Ocean City, NJ. For the past several years, she was a resident at the Woodstock Terrace, who provided compassionate care as her memory faded. She was known there for her quick wit and ability to make friends with staff and residents alike.

Hope was born on January 27, 1932 to John & Catherine Ross, and grew up in Philadelphia surrounded by seven brothers and sisters. Her father was a carpenter, and spent his apprenticeship working on the Master Dining Room of the Titanic. "Daddy" was "the best" as far as Hope was concerned, and she found the same qualities in her beloved husband Jim.

Married in 1956, Hope and Jim devoted themselves to raising their daughters, Leslie and Lynne. A stay at home Mom, Hope focused on creating a lovely home and supporting her girl's education. The best family memories focused on the little pink house at "the Shore," where grandkids played at the beach, rode their bikes, went to the boardwalk and shared magical summer days with Grandmom and Grandpop.

Locally, Hope is survived by her loving daughter, Lynne Davenport; dedicated son-in-law Jim Davenport, and granddaughters Jessica and Jacqueline Davenport. She was pre-deceased by her wonderful husband James L. Keogh 3 ^rd in August of 2009. She is also survived by eldest daughter Leslie Bode and her husband Rick (PA), granddaughters Megan Baldwin (NC) and Allison Bode (PA), and great granddaughters Emma and Charlotte Baldwin.
