Harriet Elaine Galt, 85, died early Tuesday morning June 26 ^th at her home in Woodstock, Vermont

She was born on January 10, 1933 the daughter of Edward M. and Angelina (Zappala) Morris.

Elaine grew up and went to school in the New York City area. She was a legal secretary for many years until relocating to Vermont in 1990.

Elaine is pre deceased by her parents, her daughter Angela Day, and her husband Douglas Galt and two brothers; Edward and Al. She is survived by her sister in law Elsa Morris, niece Kristen E. Gill, nephew Michael J. Morris, and 4 great nieces and nephews; James, Anna, Selina, and Emile.
