Obituary

Harold Ashley Ricker, 84, died Monday night October 10th at the Mount Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, Vermont.

Harold was born April 7, 1927 in Waterbury, Vermont the son of Charles and Clara (Warren) Ricker.

Harold worked for the Bourne family for more than 30 years and was a faithful herdsman. The Bourne family remained a big part of Harold's life until his passing this Monday. Harold's family is very thankful for the care given to him by Lizz Greene and Anne Santos and their children over the past years in his life.

Harold enjoyed old time country music, especially Johnny Cash, television comedies like two and a half men, and watching the Red Sox. He also enjoyed going to the Tunbridge Fair and many family reunions. He loved getting pictures of his family.

Harold is survived by a sister Alice Haskins of Waterbury, VT, a brother Danny Ricker Sr. of South Royalton, VT, 13 nieces and nephews and the Bourne family. In addition to his parents he is pre deceased by a brother Raymond Ricker and a sister Florence (Ricker) Mitchell.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 15th at 11:00 at the Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock, Vermont. Burial will be in the Cushing Cemetery in Woodstock. There will be no calling hours.
