Francis Marvin Spaulding died Wednesday October 18th at Grace Cottage Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born on May 31, 1942 in Mount Holly, Vermont the son of Herbert Wilber Allen and Maxine (Terco) Spaulding.
Francis lived in Westminster all his life. He worked as a tool and die maker for Woodland Tools, Bryant Manufacturing, White Metal Rolling and Stamping, and most recently as a mechanical engineer with Phil Savoy who also was a great friend. He enjoyed fishing and target shooting. He loved to "tinker" and could fix almost anything.
He is pre deceased by his wife Joan Spaulding, 2 brothers Allen and James Spaulding, a sister Marlene Pelkey Beverage, and a son Anthony Spaulding.
He is survived by 2 sons, Elliot Spaulding and his wife Robin, Samuel Spaulding and his wife Amanda, a stepdaughter Rhonda Richardson and her husband Chris, 2 grandchildren Chris Jr. and Miranda, a great grandson Ben, and a sister Juanita Aldrich.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday October 28th from 2pm to 5pm at the Westminster Fire Station.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Doris Spaulding for all she did for Francis in his last days.
