Evelyn Harriman passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 18, 2016 at Genesis Elder Care in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
She was born on July 9, 1922 in Sherburne, Vermont the daughter of Abe and Bessie (Harriman) Merriam.
Evelyn worked at the Bridgewater Woolen Mill, the Dartmouth Woolen Mill, Rock Resorts, Jewell Brook Mill, Mellishwood, and the Snack Bar.
She is survived by her two children Hilda Astbury and Kedric Harriman, 4 grandchildren; Karen Sanderson, Stuart Astbury, Suzanne Weishaar, Andreena Harriman, 4 great grandchildren; Kristine Kee, Michael Sanderson, Stephen Astbury, and Spencer Astbury, 4 great great grandchildren; Kayla Kee, Kolton Kee, Dublin Astbury, and Roman Astbury as well as many nieces and nephews. She was pre deceased by her husband Howard, 5 brothers and 7 sisters.
A private burial service was held in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Bridgewater
Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Bridgewater Fast Squad and Fire Department.
