Elaine Goldberg, 90, died early Thursday morning June 22, 2017 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital in Hanover, NH surrounded by family. She was the devoted wife of Milt Goldberg who predeceased her. They were a special couple who enjoyed traveling, laughed and played together, won husband-wife golf tournaments, and adored each other deeply. She lived in Grantham, NH and was loved by a number of dear friends, many lifelong friends. She will be remembered for her love of life, sense of humor, forthrightness, volunteer activities, and commitment to friends and family. She was born in Newton, MA on July 4, 1926. After attending Endicott Junior College, she married Milt at 20 and had three children within 5 years. She lived in Newton, MA for the first part of her life, settling with Milt in Grantham for the last 40 years. She is survived by her sister Barbara Himmelrich of Baltimore, as well as her three children- Steve of Lakeworth, FL, Daniel of Princeton, NJ, and Pic of Sharon, VT. She was loved by her five grandchildren as well as her three great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Woodstock, VT on Friday June 30 at 11.
