Woodstock – A Celebration of Life will take place early summer for Edward Gray Evertz, 69, who died December 24th, 2015 at Mt. Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, Vermont.
Affectionately known as Dad, GrandDadE, Ed, Eddie, Fast Eddie and Gray, he will be remembered by his enthusiasm for life, his warmth and never-ending wit. He uplifted those around him through his humor, attentiveness and charisma.
Eddie was perhaps most comfortable in a kitchen, whether it be professionally or privately. His love for friends, food and cooking to feed our souls will always be remembered and deeply missed.
Eddie was born on April 14, 1946 in Hackensack, New Jersey the son of Edward and Evelyn (Barry) Evertz. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Adele (Evertz) Meyer and her husband, Christopher of McKinney, TX; two grandchildren, Austin Evertz and Georgia Adele. He also leaves behind many, many good friends, both near and afar. He is predeceased by brother Barry and his wife Patricia.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society.
