Ed Connor passed away Sunday evening December 7, 2014 while walking his beloved dog Sasha.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. he attended area schools and graduated Trinity HS in 1957. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1960 and specialized as Air Police. He was honorably discharged in 1966.
While working at JFK Airport he met and married Kathleen Connor and they raised three children in Freeport, NY, Vernon, NJ and Woodstock, VT. He leaves behind his wife, Kathleen, his daughter
Kirsten Connor & her husband Darren McCoullough and their children Ian Nestor, Mallory Nestor, Owen Nestor, Lilia McCullough, Declan McCullough all of Woodstock, Vermont. Son Denis Connor of Hartford,, Vermont and his daughter Madilyn Connor. Kevin Connor and his wife Jette Connor and their sons Nathan Connor and Jake Connor of Jelling, Denmark.
Flower gardening, gourmet cooking and his dog were his greatest pleasures.
Memorial calling hours at Cabot Funeral Home, Woodstock, Vermont are Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 1 to 3 pm.
