Dorothy W. Witzenberger, 100, died peacefully on the 9 ^th of June 2019.

She was born on July 6, 1918 in South Woodstock Vermont the daughter of Harold I. And Trella (Murphy) Walker.

Dorothy graduated from Woodstock High School in 1936 and the St. John's Hospital School of Nursing in 1941. She married Henry Frank Witzenberger on January 25, 1942 in Farmington, NY.

Dorothy worked for 25 years as an I.C.U. Nurse in Glen Cove Long Island, NY before she and her husband Frank moved to Vermont in 1987. She was a former member of the Montpelier Methodist Church.

Dorothy is pre deceased by her Husband Henry Frank Witzenberger and two brothers; Clarence and William Walker. She is survived by her son Thomas of Boca Raton, FL, her 3 granddaughters; Ashley, Alexandra, and Ariel and 4 great grandchildren; Annabelle, Walker, Addison and Adeline.

The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Heaton Woods Assisted Living for the wonderful care.
