Denise "Dee" Marie Fullerton Schulz, 56, passed away at home in Woodstock, VT – per her request – surrounded by family and close friends and her beloved dog Molly on May 23, 2020.

We lost our wonderful daughter, mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend to pancreatic cancer. She was born May 24, 1963 at 12:24am in Hanover, NH at Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital to mother Therese Germaine Belisle Fullerton and father Ronald Burke Fullerton.

Denise attended Woodstock Elementary School and graduated from Woodstock Union High School in 1981. She then went on to graduate from Vermont College of Cosmetology in Burlington, VT. Following her graduation she was employed at two local hair salons; "LaCoup" in White River Jct and later at Ursulas Unique Unisex Salon in Woodstock. Following her career in cosmetology, she changed her professions and was a partner with her husband, Richard Schulz, Jr. operating Schulz Excavation. On October 8, 1988 she married Richard Schulz, Jr. They later had two sons, Benjamin Schulz born August 1, 1989 and Eric Schulz on June 16, 1992.

Dee loved hiking and boating on many lakes especially Lake George where they spent many weekends with friends and of course her dog Molly. She also thoroughly enjoyed snocross racing with her boys, husband and friends as well as snowmobiling. Denise like to travel with her friends – Key West was one of her favorite places. She would never miss a trip to the shopping mall or reading a good novel by Stephen King. Listening to music, dancing and music trivia were also things she loved to do.

She was predeceased by her father, Ronald Burke Fullerton on June 9, 2004. She is survived by her husband Richard Schulz, Jr, sons Ben and Eric Schulz, mother Therese Fullerton, brother Gregory Fullerton and sister-in-law Stephanie Fullerton, aunt Edris Watson, two nieces Nicole Fullerton and Darci Fullerton Blanchard, and many close friends.
