Charles Luetke, a resident of South Pomfret, passed away on February 23, 2021 just six days short of his 98 th birthday. Born in Graceville, Minnesota on March 1, 1923 he received his BA from the University of Minnesota as well as his law degree. He proudly served in the Army Air Force during World War II as a pilot attaining the rank of Captain.

After practicing law in Minnesota he moved East where he worked for the Federal Government in the General Services Administration. He then re-entered private practice and lived in Scarsdale, NY for many years before moving to Vermont.

He practiced law in Vermont for a few years. He also became active in the Rotary Club, serving as Secretary. He was also a member of the Board of the Thompson Center. He loved the community and was grateful for its support during his later years.

He was predeceased by his wife Marianne and is survived by a loving family. For anyone who wishes to commemorate his life, contributions to The Thompson Center would be welcome.

The Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock is assisting the family. An on line guest book can be found at cabotfh.com
