Brian Lapierre, 48 died unexpectedly after being stricken at home during his 5-and-a-half-year courageous battle with Stage Four, Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer. Born in Woonsocket, RI, Brian is the son of Linda (Landry) and Raymond Lapierre, brother of Jody Dias, Raymond Lapierre, and cousin of Nancy Silvestre, his enthusiastic and vocal supporter.

Brian attended Woonsocket, RI School system and was professionally employed in retail management, home medical equipment, and real estate. Brian's knowledge, expertise, and passion was real estate, proudly building his own home in the mountains of Vermont, surrounded by what he loved, undisturbed wilderness and nature. He and his partner invested, purchased, renovated, countless real estate properties and his skills, décor, gardening, and final touches, were inimitable.

Brian was a caring and compassionate person, a car enthusiast and avid boater, as he spent his summers on Lake George and vacations at Moosehead Lake, Maine, with his partner and soulmate, along with his beloved Service Dog, Teagan-James.

Brian leaves behind Bill, his partner of 25 years, Service Dog Teagan-James, his supportive special friends, and parents, sister, brother, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephew.

Gratitude of appreciation goes out to Oncologist Dr, Shirai and the entire medical staff at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
