Brennen Smith Jenkins, 33, died February 24th in Stockbridge, Vermont

Brennen was born on June 23, 1982 in Worcester, MA the son of Rodney Jenkins and Tama Vincent.

Brennen was a quiet, caring soul who loved fly fishing, reading, kayaking, hiking, running and snowboarding. He was loved by his partner of many years Angie, her family as well as his parents, brother, Nathaniel, grandmother, Kathleen Vincent, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brennen served his country in Afghanistan, living through the hardships of war, carrying the burden home with him. His caring nature made it difficult to cope with the dark sides of the world. He battled PTSD and for years was winning that fight until February 24th, 2016.

Brennen is survived by his partner Angie and step son Noah of Stockbridge, VT, his mother Tama of Wareham, MA, his father Rodney of Paxton, MA, his brother Nathaniel and his wife Melissa Donais of Andover, MA, his grandmother Kathleen Vincent of Baldwinville, MA, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of Brennen's life is being planned for a later date.
