Bonita "Bonnie" M. Burton, 81, died onJuly 7, 2025 at her home in Bridgewater Corners, Vermont.

She was born in Hubbardton, Vermont on April 20, 1944 the daughter of Lloyd and Edna (Dikeman) Fenton.

After growing up in Hubbardton bonnie met and later married David Burton. Eventually moving to Bridgewater and raising a family Bonnie became a Para Professional at the Woodstock School system meeting and helping many young people in the community. She later continued to work with young people at Zac's place. Bonnie formed many friendships through work and her outgoing helpful personality.

In addition to her work she enjoyed attending her sons many sports events and helping out at T C's General Store.

Bonnie is survived by her son Scott Burton, and a daughter Bonnie Stowell, 4 grandchildren; Camden, Skylar, Brendan, and Sierra, two sisters Doris and Beverly and a number of nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, a son Charles, and 3 siblings.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday July 26 ^th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock, Vermont.
