Barbara F. Leonard, 90, passed away on Wednesday February 2nd at her home in Woodstock, VT after a short battle with cancer.

Barbara was born on March 22, 1931 in Cavendish, Vermont the daughter of Raymond A. and Doris C. Frechette.

Barbara married Rupert Leonard on August 15 1959. She worked for the Vermont National Bank and the Town & Country Clothing store. She later worked for the Clover Gift Shop. Some of her favorite things were flowers, everything Christmas, hosting parties and her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Barbara is survived by her step-daughter Candice and Randy Witt of CO, her son Anthony W. and Kristin Leonard of Springfield, VT, her daughter Shelly L. and David Sanderson of Hartland, VT, her sister Sharon Carlotto of NJ, brother Charles and wife Phyllis Frechette of White River Jct. VT, 5 grandchildren, Ryan, Molly, Nathan, Jeff, Jessica as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is pre deceased by her husband Rupert, her step son Richard J. Leonard, her sisters; Betty Harris, Joan Rochford, Kay West-Rose, and her brother David Frechette.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday June 12th in the Riverside Cemetery in Woodstock, VT beginning at 2:00pm
