Alberta B. Whittier, 71, died Thursday morning January 31, 2019 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

She was born Oct. 14, 1947 in Granville, Vermont the daughter of Albert and Lottie (Taylor) Bagley.

Alberta graduated from Rochester High School in 1966 and attended business school in Rutland for 2 years. She married Albert Whittier on April 15, 1978. Alberta worked for True Wood Products in Lebanon and then in Wilder before going to work at the Bridgewater Woolen Mill and Kmart. She then began a 30 career as a cook for the Woodstock Inn and Resort. Her favorite thing to do was relaxing with friends and family.

She is survived by her husband Albert, her brother David (Jan) Bagley, her 3 nephews; Kevin, Kenneth, and Preston Bagley, and 2 great nieces Zinadia and Alyza.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday February 9, 2019 from 3 to 5 pm at the Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock, Vermont. A graveside service is being planned for a later date in the Riverside Cemetery in Killington, Vermont.
